¿Cómo estás?
Well, what a long, long, long time it has been.
I have been so busy, it’s almost as if I have forgotten how to write.
The quick update: I finally left a job that I should have left a year ago, and I’m transitioning into my pursuit of ART! Creativity!
That is the short version. One more note on the short version is that I have the wonderful feeling that the struggle and strife of the past 3 years is finally starting to pass out of my life. There is still quite a lot to learn and much to be done on the road to achieving my ultimate goal of self-employment, but I think I’m in a good place.
I finally have time to write. To learn to be an event photographer. To knit again.
I started working in a restaurant a few months ago, and I found, much to my surprise, that I love it. Because the cooks and dishwashers are all Spanish speakers, I have also found that I am interested in learning Spanish. It’s so bueno to communicate, non?
So this is my petite update.
It’s nice to be back, at least a little bit.
