Don’t. Or at least, don’t read the book.
Ok, ok. So I wrote a review of How to Knit a Love Song over at Colorful Mess, and I hope it’s not scathing. Really, this is my hope. I’d like to say I will give the book away to someone who leaves a comment, blah blah, blah – but I honestly don’t think the book is worth the money it would take to ship it. If you’re a library type, go check it out there. For my part, I’ll be taking my copy over to my favorite local indie bookstore to get a trade credit. As Bart Simpson would say – “Suckerzzzz!”
Ahem.
Back to the knitting.
I am very much enjoying knitting my Clap. I decided to make it scarf-width, versus shawly-thing width, and I think that was a good choice. Now it’s got a hope of being both an appropriate width AND length. I absolutely love the color the yarn turned out, so I’m happy about that too.
More on the knitting later. My head is about to fall off from fatigue.
Ciao.
i hardly have time to read fiction anymore, but when i do it’s usually andrea dean von scoyoc or yasmine galenorn. for ‘cozies’ (similar to what you read) i like marion babson.
